So I went to Carolina Con in Raleigh, NC this past weekend and while I was there NotLarry  was showing me his Wi-Fli Helicopter and how by default you can telnet into it…He also mentioned people are hacking and modding it. And the best part, he picked it up from Target for 30 bucks. So as soon as I got back to Augusta Monday I picked one up, unfortunately they were $50 here. But still cheaper than the 105 listed on amazon. So now I have a Wi-Fli Bladerunner. I have successfully logged in to it and played around a bit. It is a very stripped down version of linux (Busybox).

What I would like to do:

1. Get my Asus WL520GU router running the latest version of DD-WRT and a USB 3G Dongle working.
2. Get the WL-520GU router to act as a Client and join the Helicopter’s AP and act as the gateway to that network.
3. Install a different version of linux, one I can install Karma onto. (im just not sure if I will break the flying functionality if I do this).
4. Get Karma working on the Helicopter.
5. Graduate from the minor leagues and start working on a true W.A.S.P lol

The Plan:

I have an idea for an awesome war driving / mobile WiFi sniffing PC.

In theory this PC is going to turn on when I turn the vehicle on and shut down a few minutes after I turn the car off. It will boot into backtrack and start up a war driving app to log wifi networks. The logs will be saved in a dropbox folder which will sync when I get near my house, a second wifi card will connect to my house wifi automatically when it is in range.

Because it will be running backtrack, with the help of a touch screen mounted in the car and possibly a wireless keyboard it will be capable of a running any number of wireless hacks. Mag mount hi gain antenna’s will help maximize range.

Misc Notes:

• The onboard WiFi will be used to connect to my home WiFi for the dropbox syncing.
• The Alpha USB WiFi with Mag mount Antenna will be used for the war driving.
• Potentially a 2nd Alpha and Mag mount will be added later for seperate WiFi Wepcracking and other potential fun (aka Karma…)((Imagine sitting at a red light or cruising down the highway and having someones smart phone auto connect to your bogus wifi, potentially being able to capture email passwords, etc.))

Ok, i don’t get why this is going on. First off, I do get upset if my friends unfriend/unfollow me from social networking places b/c I like to keep up with friends and i hope that they like to keep up with me. I was really taken aback by that and when I tried to message you via Twitter, it told me I couldn’t message you and that I was blocked! I was talking to Joey & Dave (Tial) when it happened, so it wasn’t like I was seeing things. I was really confused so i messaged you via Skype & then I sent you the public Twitter message and got back the whole “80% of the time it’s location updates”. I just don’t get why you didn’t say to me first, “Hey Tash, this annoys the shit out of me, why do you do it or could you do it less?” I actually have reasons as to why I do it, but I won’t get into in great detail now but it has to do with friends and co-workers keeping track of me instead of texting me 5 million times an hour to see if i’ve made it to this hospital or that, but whatever.

So yeah, I was kinda shocked b/c the first thing I hear of it (i saw a friend use a Twitter unfollower tracker and thought I’d check it out, bad timing, i guess) of anything going wrong is by seeing you unfollowed me & then I get that very vague response on Twitter publicly. Honestly, if my tweets annoyed you, I would’ve done it less b/c i’d rather communicate and have rapport with friends than appease work people, but thats too late now. So yeah, I get really nasty & say lots of things that I say out of anger in the moment. Also, maybe it’s a girl thing but I’ve had issues with friends in the past who were real life friends who stopped following me on Twitter and then lo & behold, they had an issue with something that happened that they never told me about and friendships were ended. Hence why when I saw this, i was like, wow, what did I do that upset him. That’s the first place my mind went. I’m not trying to be dramatic, I liked keeping up with you and talking to you, but what it looked like was ‘i’m no longer interested in what you have to say’. Maybe i’m just too sensitive but I was upset by it. If you can’t understand that, then that’s silly. You should be flattered that I CARED that you unfollowed me. I get unfollowed & unfollow random internet people all the time, but I don’t do that with people I consider my friends.
